Former Duke Star’s Injury History Goes Viral

Former Duke star Jabari Parker went viral this week after a shocking picture of his knee went viral.

A look at Jabari Parker’s knee in 2026 after years of injuries

Parker, 30, plays for Joventut Badalona in the Spanish Liga ACB & the FIBA Champions League.

Parker averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds in his lone season at Duke and went on to be the second overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Despite a promising outlook, Parker’s repeated left-knee injuries hampered his ability to play at the top level.

Despite not playing in the NBA since 2022, Parker has had a successful career overseas.

He’s still one of today’s biggest “what if’s,” especially after averaging over 20 points per game in 2017 before a season-ending ACL tear ended his campaign.
