Four NBA teams have expressed interest in signing Bradley Beal, who is expected to reach a buyout agreement with the Phoenix Suns soon.

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer of The Stein Line, the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Minnesota Timberwolves are all monitoring Beal’s situation. Once a buyout is finalized, the three-time All-Star will become an unrestricted free agent.

“Some confirmed suitors for Beal include the LA Clippers — fresh off agreeing to trade Norman Powell to Miami in a three-team deal that will bring back Utah’s John Collins — as well as the Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee, and Minnesota,” Fischer reported.

Beal played 53 games for the Suns last season, averaging 17.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 49.7% from the field, 38.6% from three-point range, and 80.3% from the free-throw line. The veteran guard began his career with the Washington Wizards, who selected him third overall in the 2012 NBA Draft.

The 32-year-old holds career averages of 21.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists across 801 games with the Wizards and Suns. He spent 11 seasons in Washington before being traded to Phoenix in 2023.

The Suns had championship aspirations after acquiring Beal to pair with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, but the trio never found consistent success. Phoenix was swept by Minnesota in the first round of the 2024 playoffs and failed to qualify for the postseason the following year.

In total, Beal appeared in 106 games over two seasons with the Suns, averaging 17.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per contest.

With his impending free agency, all eyes are on where Beal will land next—and whether he can become a difference-maker for a contending team.
