Giannis Antetokounmpo Made NBA History In Bucks-Pacers Game

During the game, Antetokounmpo also made NBA history by passing Juwan Howard on the all-time scoring list.    

He came into the night with 16,157 points, which ranked 114th and only needed three points to pass Howard (16,159) for 113th.  

At just 28, the 2021 NBA Finals MVP has 16,195 points and will have an excellent chance to finish his career among the top 20 scorers ever.  

The next player for him to pass on the list will be Randy Smith (16,262). 

With the victory, the Bucks improved to 55-21 in 76 games, which is the best record in the entire NBA. 

They are the first seed in the Eastern Conference and 3.0 games ahead of the Boston Celtics (who are second). 

Over the last ten games, the Bucks have gone 7-3, and they are now in the middle of a two-game winning streak.  

In 2021, Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the NBA Championship over the Phoenix Suns, and last year they lost in the second round of the playoffs. 

The Bucks will play their next game on Thursday night when they host Jayson Tatum and the Celtics at home in Wisconsin. 

They are an outstanding 30-7 in the 37 games they have played at home.
