Giannis Antetokounmpo's Trade List of Likely NBA Teams Revealed by Insider

There's a belief that Giannis Antetokounmpo could request a trade over the summer after the disappointing end to the Milwaukee Bucks' season. While the Bucks made the postseason, they couldn't last and eventually lost to the Indiana Pacers after five games.

The Bucks were a playoff team this year, but they weren't the same team as they once were. Milwaukee has not been the same group since winning the championship in 2021 against the Phoenix Suns. The plethora of changes has hindered the group from achieving success.

It started when the Bucks traded veteran guard Jrue Holiday for Damian Lillard in 2023. That was followed by the firing of head coach Mike Budenholzer in the same year. The final change that involved their championship squad was when the management traded Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards this season.

With Antetokounmpo's uncertain future in Milwaukee, NBA insider Howard Beck revealed the preferred cities for the one-time champion.

"Does Giannis ask out? If he does, does he have a list?" Beck said on The Zach Lowe Show. "I poked around a little bit a few days ago and the initial thing I got from one person was just like some rumblings that it's already just the big cities."

"One of the LA teams or one of the New York teams or maybe Miami. Not a big market, but a glamour markt, mid-size market."

Beck added Chicago as one of the teams that favor Antetokounmpo.

The Greek Freak wants to bring another championship to the Bucks. However, the front office's changes haven't panned out well. After firing coach Bud, they replaced him with Adrian Griffin, who was fired after leading the team to a 30–13 record.

Additionally, Lillard suffered a season-ending torn left Achilles tendon during the opening round of the playoffs. Given the many changes and lack of success, the Bucks' future with Antetokounmpo is up in the air.
