Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green Argues With Heckler Who Called Him a Crybaby

The Warriors visited the Frost Bank Center on Monday and was naturally greeted with a hostile environment created by a few Spurs fan. Sure enough, the said home supporters targeted Green knowing for a fact that he’s vocal.

In a video that is now going viral online, a couple of fans were seen shouting at Green, clearly trying to get into his head and instigate something. Green jawed back, with a member of the Warriors staff appearing to try to stop the hecklers.

Members of the Warriors bench definitely took notice of those unruly supporters who keep calling Green a crybaby, as they kept looking back to see who was shouting at them.

It’s unknown what happened to the said supporters and whether security intervened or not. After all, those kinds of situations often spark fights between players and fans.

Nonetheless, it’s definitely not a good look for the Spurs and their fanbase.

Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors Got the Last Laugh

While Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors got harassed by some San Antonio Spurs fans, it didn’t matter on their performance on the court.

The Dubs bounced back from their previous loss against the Spurs and handled the Victor Wembanyama-led squad even in the absence of the injured Stephen Curry.

While Green didn’t have the best of games offensively with just five points, he was a key contributor with his all-around effort with six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Jonathan Kuminga top-scored for the Warriors with 22 points, while Klay Thompson had 21. Chris Paul had a huge impact as well with 19 points, nine rebounds and eight dimes.

Rookies Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis also impressed, with the latter even having a viral poster dunk over Wembanyama.

Wemby led the way for the Spurs with a monster double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, though it wasn’t enough as they ended up losing 112-102.

Sure enough. Dray and Co. will take the win over anything else.
