Golden State Warriors Fans Get Massive Stephen Curry Sighting Update Amid Injury
Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Stephen Curry will be out until at least Tuesday when the Golden State Warriors re-evaluate his right ankle injury. But by the looks of it, his absence won’t be much longer.

After all, based on the latest updates, Curry is recovering nicely and is on path to make a quick return from injury.

Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry Spotted

According to a recent report by NBA insider Monte Poole, Curry–who suffered a right ankle injury last Thursday against the Chicago Bulls–was recently spotted entering the Warriors’ facility without a walking boot. It’s definitely a positive sign since it suggests that Curry’s injury is not that serious.

Furthermore, Curry did have crutches to aid his walking, but he was not using it.

“Best news the Warriors got today: Stephen Curry, per a very reliable source, walked into the facility in the noon hour wearing shoes – no boot to protect his right ankle. Did have crutches but was not using them,” Poole reported on X.

The Warriors lost to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday without Curry, so it’s clear they need their superstar guard back as soon as possible. Fortunately, there’s a good chance that the GOAT shooter returns sooner rather than later.

Stephen Curry Injury Update

Earlier on Saturday, the Golden State Warriors confirmed that Stephen Curry’s recent MRI came back clean. However, they still ruled out the star guard for their back-to-back games against the San Antonio Spurs to give him some time to recover.

As mentioned, Curry will be re-evaluated on Tuesday when his status moving forward will be determined. Luckily for Dubs fans, the clean MRI and short re-evaluation gap suggests a non-serious issue.

“Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who exited Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls with 3:51 remaining in the fourth quarter due to a right ankle injury, underwent an MRI yesterday. The MRI indicated no structural damage to the joint and confirmed the injury as a sprained ankle. Curry will not play in tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs and will be re-evaluated again on Tuesday,” the team said in their medical update on Curry.

All the signs point to a quick return for Curry. Hopefully, he doesn’t suffer any setback, especially with the Dubs aiming to stay in the playoff hunt out West.
