Golden State Warriors Player Is Still A Free Agent
USA TODAY Sports

Anthony Lamb is coming off a season where he played in 62 games (and six NBA playoff games) for the  Golden State Warriors.

The 25-year-old averaged 6.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 36.7% from the three-point range.

NBA free agency began nearly four weeks ago, but Lamb is still available to be signed by any team in the league.

In addition to his solid season in the NBA, Lamb also spent time with the Santa Cruz Warriors (G League) and averaged 11.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 40.9% from the field in six games.

Lamb was one of the best role players on the Warriors during the regular season and could be an excellent pickup for another team looking to add depth to their bench.

The former Vermont star initially went undrafted in 2020 and has also played for the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs over three seasons.

His career averages are 6.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range in 88 regular season games.

As for the Warriors, they finished the regular season as the sixth seed in the Western Conference and had a 44-38 record.

They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in seven games) but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round (in six games).

The franchise has won four titles in the previous nine seasons.
