Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors has continued to make history with his ability to make 3-pointers. On Wednesday, he recorded another season with 300 makes from beyond the arc. Overall, Curry now has six seasons in which he achieved the same amount of shots from deep.  The Warriors played against the San Antonio Spurs and the four-time champion had 297 threes made coming into the game.

During the third quarter, Curry had an open look down the floor and made his third shot from beyond the arc. Watch the video below to see the Warriors star make history.

Curry is shooting 39.6 percent of his shots from deep in the 2024-25 NBA season. The first time he achieved such a feat was during the 2015-16 season, which was the second time he earned the Most Valuable Player award. That year, he finished with 402 threes, which is also the most he’s had in a season.

In the history of the league, he is the only player to record at least 300 makes from long-distance multiple times. The latest addition to the group is Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who has recorded 305 shots from long-range this campaign.

Last month, Curry made history when he recorded his 4,000th make from beyond the arc. The two-time MVP became the first player to reach the 4,000 3-point mark. The Golden State Warriors star did it against the Sacramento Kings, during their March 13 game. The 11-time All-Star led the team to a 130-104 win and had 11 points on 33.3 percent shooting from deep.

The player who trails him for the most career 3-pointers made is his fellow 2009 draftee, James Harden. The Los Angeles Clippers star has 3,163 shots from deep.
