Steph Curry donned an all-black outfit in the Golden State Warriors’ tunnel right before Game 2 of the playoff series against the Houston Rockets, and his wife Ayesha Curry could not hold in her admiration. Ayesha shared a picture of Steph Curry’s pregame fit and captioned it with her adulation.
Stephen Curry and Ayesha have been romantically linked since 2008, but have known each other since they were teenagers after meeting at a church youth group. They reconnected when Curry was in Los Angeles for an award show and Ayesha was there trying her luck at acting. The two got married in 2011 and have four children together, the youngest of whom was born last year.
“Goodness gracious,” Ayesha Curry captioned the Instagram post, showing off her husband’s pregame outfit.
Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors sadly lost Game 2 against the Houston Rockets. Now the series is tied 1-1. Curry has been playing for the Warriors since 2009 after being selected by the team as the seventh overall pick in the very first round of the draft. Since then, he has managed to win the NBA championship a whopping four times. In the ongoing NBA season, the point guard is scoring 24.5 points in each game, grabbing 4.4 rebounds in every matchup played.
Steph Curry & Warriors To Play Game 3 Against Rockets This Weekend
After a disastrous defeat against the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the playoff series between the two teams, Steph Curry and the rest of the Golden State Warriors will be keeping their fingers crossed to do better in the next matchup.
In Game 2 against the Rockets, the Warriors were defeated with a final score of 109-94. Curry was the lead scorer for the Warriors in that game, chalking up 20 points, along with five rebounds and nine helpers, while Moses Moody and Quinten Post each matched 12 points. Jonathan Kuminga and Pat Spencer also put up 11 points each for the Warriors against the Rockets.
The Golden State Warriors finished their regular season in the seventh position of the Western Conference with 48 wins and 34 defeats. Stephen Curry is the team’s leader in scoring in this NBA season, while Jimmy Butler is the second lead scorer for the Golden State Warriors. Moses Moody and Brandon Podziemski are placed third and fourth in the list respectively. The Warriors will be eager to add another championship win in this NBA season.
