The Memphis Grizzlies may have to start the 2022-23 campaign without one of their starters.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. will miss four-to-six months after surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot.

Jackson missed most of the 2020-21 season with a meniscus tear in his left knee. He missed the first 56 games, playing in 11 regular season contests down the stretch.
After an injury-shortened season, Jackson rebounded for the 2021-22 season.
Jackson started 78 games for the Grizzlies, averaging 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.1 assists. He was an integral part of Memphis' lineup in the postseason. Jackson started all 12 playoff games for the Grizzlies, averaging 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks, playing nearly 28 minutes a game.
The 22-year-old was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team while leading the league in blocks (177).
