The Grizzlies have agreed to a 10-day contract with guard Lucas Williamson, Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype tweets.
The former Loyola Ramblers wing has spent this season with the Memphis Hustle and Windy City Bulls in the G League. Williamson went undrafted in 2022, joined the Clippers that fall for training camp and was waived. He spent some time that season in Canada with the Edmonton Stingers.
Otherwise, he’s spent most of his pro career in the G League with the Hustle. This season, he’s averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 23.7 minutes per game over 46 contests.
Memphis, overwhelmed by injuries, has been filling out its roster with players on 10-day contracts. Jaylen Wells (toe) became the fifth Memphis player to undergo a season-ending surgery, joining Zach Edey (elbow), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (finger), Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe), and Santi Aldama (knee).
The Grizzlies brought back Tyler Burton and DeJon Jarreau on second 10-day contracts this month but those contracts expire on Wednesday.
