The Memphis Grizzlies traded up in the first round of the NBA Draft to select Wake Forest's Jake LaRavia with the No. 19 pick.
Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Memphis traded the No. 22 and No. 29 selections to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the No. 19 pick and a future second-round pick.

LaRavia earned All-ACC honors playing in 33 games for the Demon Deacons last season. He averaged 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks.
A 6-foot-8 guard, LaRavia transferred from Indiana State to Wake Forest ahead of last season.
In two seasons with Indiana State in the Missouri Valley Conference, LaRavia averaged 10.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals in 55 games. He was named to the MVC All-Freshman team in 2019-20 and the All-MVC second team in 2020-21.
