The recent upheaval within the Atlanta Hawks organization might be getting to star Trae Young.
On Sunday night, Young took to social media, where he had an unflattering interaction with a fan and self-identified Hawks' season ticket holder.
Responding on Twitter to a slight jab from the fan, Young Tweeted, "Shut up h--, I don't play for you," followed by a crying laughing emoji.
Shut up hoe. I don’t play for you

Later, Young continued to worsen a bad situation, insinuating that the fan wasn't on his level.
"You PAY to watch me," Young Tweeted. "There's a difference in an OWNER."
You PAY to watch me. There’s a difference in an OWNER. #Levels

Playful emojis or not, Young coming the way he did at the fan, who may or may not pay for season tickets, isn't a good look for him or the team, especially considering the state of the Hawks' franchise at the moment.
Young should also know by now how social media can quickly get someone in the public light like himself into trouble.
Perhaps Young's outburst is a response to stress from change, as the Hawks fired head coach Nate McMillan on Tuesday, only months removed from president Travis Shclenk's exit from the team.
While Young, who had a rocky relationship with McMillan, may have hinted at his choice to fill the head coaching void in Atlanta, the Hawks have decided to go in a different direction.
Late Sunday night, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Hawks have reached a five-year deal to make former Utah Jazz headman Quin Snyder coach.
