The Dallas Mavericks have a big hole in their rotation with Kyrie Irving out with a torn ACL.

The Dallas Mavericks tried starting rookie Cooper Flagg at point guard, but that did not go to plan.

Dallas did pick up D’Angelo Russell in the offseason, but he only saw 15 minutes of action in the Mavericks season opener and scored just 6 points.

The Mavericks’ lack of guard depth might be a big issue for them as they wait for their All-Star guard to return.

Spencer Dinwiddie signs with Bayern Munich

Former Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie is reportedly leaving the NBA as he has agreed to sign with Bayern Munich.

Last season, Dinwiddie was with the Mavericks and he played the most minutes for them. In 79 games played, Dinwiddie averaged 11.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 27.0 minutes per contest.

The Mavericks decided not to bring back Dinwiddie in the summer and instead signed Russell.

Dinwiddie joins Bayern Munich after 11 years in the NBA.

Dinwiddie played 11 seasons in the NBA for 5 teams, including the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers.

He averaged 13.0 points, 5.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 621 regular-season games.

Dinwiddie saw his best season come with the Nets in 2019-2020, where he averaged 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.

Dinwiddie is 32 years old so this might be it in terms of him playing in the NBA.
