'He’ll Be on the All-Star Team' – Toronto Raptors’ Scottie Barnes Draws Massive NBA All-Star Endorsement From Eastern Conference Rival

Scottie Barnes flirted with a triple-double in the Toronto Raptors’ 115-101 win against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. The one-time NBA All-Star had 26 points, seven rebounds, 13 assists, and two steals on 10-for-16 shooting from the field.

Barnes’ superb play for the Toronto Raptors has garnered praise from many, including Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle, who pitched for the 24-year-old to be part of the NBA All-Star Game again this campaign.

“It’s difficult to have a conventional center guarding Barnes. His versatility, he’s 6’9″ and a half point guard, and he can protect the rim, and he is physical,” Carlisle said. “Scottie Barnes is an All-Star, that’s pretty clear. With the year they’re having, there’s no question that he’ll be on the All-Star team.”

“Him pushing the pace, and creating so much gravity that he’s able to just see the floor, see open passes, and make them on time, on target. That’s what I like about it the most,” Brandon Ingram added of Barnes.

Toronto Raptors News: Collin Murray-Boyles receives props for solid rookie season

Collin Murray-Boyles is another player who’s having a solid 2025-26 campaign with the Toronto Raptors . Since Jakob Poeltl went down with an injury, the 20-year-old has taken over as the team’s starting center, averaging 7.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists on 54.1 percent shooting in 34 regular season games (10 starts).

The ninth overall pick produced a double-double against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, registering 10 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists on 4-for-10 shooting from the field across 33 minutes of action.

“I want to definitely give him a hand clap for how consistent he’s been,” Brandon Ingram said of Murray-Boyles. “Usually around this time, you see rookies hit the rookie wall, before All-Star. He just keeps on competing every single night. You know what you get from him.”
