Hornets Provide LaMelo Ball Injury Update
USA TODAY Sports

Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball is continuing to work his way back from an ankle sprain that he suffered on November 26th against the Orlando Magic. Friday afternoon, the team provided an update on the injury.

"LaMelo Ball is progressing in his rehab from the ankle injury suffered on Nov. 26 at ORL. He has begun individual activities and will be reevaluated in one week."

This is essentially the same message they put out after the initial testing on the ankle was done. It doesn't appear that Ball is going to miss a huge chunk of time and that this is truly a week to week situation that they will continue to monitor.

Prior to the injury Ball was one of the NBA's best offensive players averaging 32.2 points over his last nine games.
