The Charlotte Hornets are trading veteran guard Terry Rozier to the Miami Heat in exchange for a 2027 first-round pick and Kyle Lowry, according to multiple reports.
Rozier is enjoying a career year averaging 23.2 points, 6.6 assists and a field goal percentage of 45.9% - all personal highs. There have been several rumors over the last few weeks regarding a possible trade between Charlotte and Miami, sending Rozier to the Heat. Now, the first move has been made and the Hornets are officially sellers.
In 37 games this season, Lowry is averaging 8.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and four assists per game while shooting 42% from the floor and 38% from three-point range.
