Despite Brunson's understated game, which casual fans seem to underappreciate, regarding flash and explosiveness, his loyalty to New York earned him massive support from a passionate fanbase. 

While jersey sales convey popularity and help with league revenue, the on-court product matters more to the teams. The Knicks bested the Spurs 117-114 in their Christmas Day matchup. Wembanyama may not lead Brunson in jersey sales, but he has the opportunity to split the 2024-25 regular-season series against the Knicks on March 19.
