Myles Turner’s return to Indiana for the first time since he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks saw the big man get showered by boos by bitter Indiana Pacers fans.
After helping the Pacers reach the 2025 NBA Finals, Turner decided to leave the franchise and take his talents to a rival, signing a four-year, $108.86 million contract instead of trying to work out a new deal to keep going with Indiana, which took him in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft.
On Monday night, Turner was jeered all night long by Pacers fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, but at least he and the Bucks came away with a 117-115 victory, thanks in large part to the brilliance of two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak torched the Pacers for 33 points on 14-for-21 shooting from the field while recording 13 rebounds, five assists and two steals. Antetokounmpo also drained the game-winning, buzzer-beating jumper that sealed the deal for the Bucks, who improved to 5-2 overall in the 2025-26 NBA season.
After the game, Turner hopped on social media to share his true feelings about the kind of welcome he received from Pacers fans.

Turner, who scored just nine points against the Pacers, but swatted away a total of five shots, drew plenty of supportive messages from fans after sharing his post.
“Forget Them, Milwaukee Loves You Myles. Glad You Can Now Be In A Place Where You Are Appreciated. Nice Win Tonight Let’s Get Another One Tomorrow. God Bless And Go Bucks.,” said a fan on X.
Another one said: “We love you MT. [expletive] em.”
From a commenter: “Appreciated in Milwaukee. Keep up the great work on defense. That is winning basketball.”
“We got you here, Myles.,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “Forget them Myles Milwaukee is happy to have you here”
Said another: “The journey is what matters. The rest is just noise.”
Pacers will see Turner at least one more time this season, as Milwaukee will be back in Indiana on Dec. 23.
