The Dallas Mavericks have gotten off to a terrible start this season.

The Dallas Mavericks dropped to 2-5 after their latest loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday night.

Kyrie Irving has been out with an ACL injury and will not be back until January at the earliest.

Also, Anthony Davis is out with bilateral Achilles tendinopathy . He has missed the last two games and is questionable for the Mavericks’ next contest. Dereck Lively II is also out.

Chandler Parsons sounds off on the Dallas Mavericks for trading Luka Doncic because of his “bad habits”

With each passing day, the Anthony Davis for Luka Doncic trade looks worse and worse for the Mavericks.

Davis is sidelined with injury, and when he does play he has not been close to Doncic’s level, who is playing like an MVP candidate right now.

Many people still can’t believe that Nico Harrison traded Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in February.

Chandler Parsons can’t get over it and he blasted the Mavericks for their decision.

“Look the other way, the guy just led you to the Finals.

“You traded him over bad habits? How about his good habits of 41 and 11 and 8, come on dude.

“It still doesn’t make sense, it’ll never make sense, and I love Anthony Davis, but it doesn’t check out.”

The Dallas Mavericks are quickly sinking

The injuries are starting to pile up for the Mavericks and so are the losses.

Dallas is struggling to find their footing and with key players out of the lineup, it will be tough for them to remain competitive in a loaded Western Conference.

No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg has had growing pains to start his career and the Mavericks just haven’t been able to overcome their void at starting point guard with Irving out.

If Davis’ injury lingers and he ends up missing more time than expected, the Mavericks’ season will be in serious jeopardy.
