Tyrese Haliburton made history after helping the Indiana Pacers win 119-105 against the Charlotte Hornets last night.

The two-time NBA All-Star had 22 points, 10 assists, two steals, two blocks, four three-pointers, and no turnovers on 9-for-15 shooting from the field.

This is his 14th game with at least 20 points and 10 assists without turning the ball over, which passes San Antonio guard Chris Paul for most such games, per NBA Stats.

Haliburton was not the only one who balled out against Charlotte, as Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, Myles Turner , Thomas Bryant, and Jarace Walker added 16, 15, 15, 13, and 10 points. Perhaps the biggest difference of the match was the turnover comparison, as Indiana only lost the ball six times compared to 18 for Charlotte.

Indiana Pacers clinch playoff spot

The Indiana Pacers improved to a 45-31 record following last night’s win against the Charlotte Hornets. They are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference as of this writing.

If Indiana secure a Top 4 spot, they will enter the first round of the postseason with homecourt advantage for the first time since 2014.

The Indiana Pacers have six games left in the 2024-25 regular season against the Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers (twice), and Orlando Magic, and they will aim to end their campaign on a high note.
