The Memphis Grizzlies downed the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, 141-114, clinching their 56th victory of the season, tying the franchise mark.
Memphis' leading scorer Ja Morant was back in the starting lineup for the first time since injuring his knee against the Atlanta Hawks on March 18. After missing nine games, Morant didn't miss a beat in his return, finishing with 21 points, nine assists, four rebounds, and a block.

The 22-year-old Morant averages 27.6 points per game, seven rebounds, and six assists for Memphis this season.
Seven players finished in double-figures for the Grizzlies, led by Dillon Brooks with a team-high 23 points. Brooks was 3-of-5 from three-point range and added five assists and three rebounds.

Joining Brooks among Memphis' double-figure scorers were Morant (21), Brandon Clarke (20), Ziaire Williams (19), Desmond Bane (18), Jerren Jackson Jr. (12), and De'Anthony Melton (12).
The Grizzlies have won eight of their last ten games and have already clinched the Southwest Division title.
Memphis' 56th win on Saturday night against New Orleans tied the franchise record for wins in a season. The Grizzlies went 56-26 in 2012-13, eventually falling in the Western Conference Finals.
With one regular-season game remaining, Memphis will have a chance at breaking the mark ahead of the postseason. The Grizzlies hope to earn the historic victory in front of their home fans when they host the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
