During the New York Knicks’ 127-104 loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, guard Jalen Brunson suffered a right ankle injury.
After the game, head coach Mike Brown told reporters the only information he had was that Brunson “turned his right ankle.”
According to James Edwards III of The Athletic, Brunson later left Madison Square Garden on crutches while wearing a walking boot.

Against the Magic, Brunson was New York’s leading scorer, finishing the night with 31 points, coupled with six assists, while shooting 10-of-23 from the field (43.5%), and converting one of his four shots from three-point range (25%).
New York will hope for good news in the coming days. Until then, the Knicks are left to hold their breath and hope their most reliable player isn’t facing anything long-term.
