James Harden’s legendary side-eye glance at a reporter from a few seasons back sits atop GIPHY’s all-time views for NBA GIFs with over 286 million impressions.
As noted in a tweet by NBA insider Ben Golliver, @NBA became the first entity to notch 20 billion views, and the Houston Rockets superstar’s iconic move is a big reason why.

The topper on the list, James Harden’s side-eye, has garnered 286,664,651 views. It features the Houston Rockets superstar’s reaction during an interview following a game in November 2015.
After beating the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 109-105 — in a game where he went off for 46 points — Harden was asked by the sideline reporter about his rhythm. The inquiry elicited what is now referred to as the “Harden Side-Eye.”
And the rest, as it’s said, is history, which includes a crafty youngster mimicking Harden’s side-eye, fake beard and all.
