Jaylen Brown’s Sage Advice That Fueled Boston Celtics in Game 3 Win vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Celtics gained the lead in their second round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. But before they did, All-Star forward Jaylen Brown dropped some sage advice to fuel his team against the Wine and Gold.

During Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Celtics went home with the 106-93 win over Cleveland in their own home court. Jayson Tatum put on a marvelous show by notching 33 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists. Brown played his part efficiently by tallying 28 points on 76 percent shooting from the field and 66 percent from deep, nine rebounds, and three assists. Jrue Holiday contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

For his part, All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 33 points on 58 percent shooting from beyond the perimeter, six rebounds, and three assists. Evan Mobley added 17 points and eight rebounds, while Darius Garland and Caris LeVert each had 15 points.

The win helped Boston get the lead and the momentum back in the series. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, hope to even things up as Game 4 will happen again at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. If they fail, the Celtics will be one win away from going back to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jaylen Brown Drops Sage Advice That Led To Boston Celtics Game 3 Win Against the Cleveland Cavaliers

Right before Game 3, Brown dropped some piece of wisdom that helped Boston get the win. In a video posted by Celtics on CLNS on X:

As it stands, the Celtics are hitting more field goals, getting more free throws, and grabbing more offensive rebounds. However, they’re committing more turnovers in the three games they have played against the Cavaliers.

With the momentum right back at their side, the Celtics are hoping to get another win in Cleveland. If they maintain the mindset instilled by Brown’s advice, they’ll have no problem doing so.
