Jaylen Brown's Strong Message to Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are preparing for a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, set to play on Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The Timberwolves enter the game as the No. 7 team in the Western Conference standings with a 32-27 record, half a game behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the No. 6 seed.

Amid the Timberwolves' season, Edwards took to social media to share a few action shots from the team's recent 131-128 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"Steppin on [angry face emoji]," Edwards said.

Upon releasing the post, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown took to the comments, sending Edwards a strong message.

"Young [goat emoji]," Brown said.

In the win over the Thunder, where Minnesota knocked off the No. 1 team in the Western Conference standings, Edwards sealed the victory with a game-sealing block.

The young star finished the game with 17 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, shooting 33.3% from the field and 16.7% from three.

So far this season, Edwards has posted 27.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Edwards is currently questionable for the Timberwolves' matchup against the Lakers, nursing right calf soreness.
