On Tuesday, the Boston Celtics had their six-game winning streak snapped by the Oklahoma City Thunder after losing just two games in the month of December.
Boston still owns the NBA's best record, winning 14 of their last 17 contests. They are within the top three in offensive and defensive rating, while holding the second-best NET rating in the league. The Celtics also continue to hold the best point differential as well.
Jayson Tatum, in a recent interview with Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe, talked about what lies ahead for the Celtics.
"We look at [the schedule] ahead of time," Tatum said. "But I think we've done a pretty good job of taking it one game at a time. We try to approach every game the same, whether we're playing a really good OKC team or a not-as-good Spurs team. We still want to approach the game and respect it the same way."
The Celtics are back in Boston to take on Danny Ainge's Utah Jazz Friday night, prior to a baseball series with the Indiana Pacers beginning in Indianapolis on Saturday.
