The Jazz, who led by as many as 24 points, held the Spurs to 18 points in the first quarter.

Lauri Markkanen ignited the Jazz with points in the first quarter, and they finished the quarter on a 15-5 run to build a 32-18 lead.

San Antonio was only slightly better in the second quarter, scoring 21 points, but it trailed 63-39 at the half.

The Spurs led 8-7 when the Jazz took the lead for good after scoring seven straight on a Keyonte George 3-pointer, a Collins dunk and a Kris Dunn basket.

San Antonio outscored Utah 35-30 in the third to make it a 19-point game at 93-74 heading into the final period.

Vassell and Wembanyama hit consecutive 3-pointers to open the fourth quarter, and the Spurs trimmed the deficit to nine after starting the quarter on a 15-5 run.

Utah regained a 21-point lead at 116-95 with 5:15 left. The game-clinching 11-0 run began after Collins hit a 3-pointer and Markkanen set up a Sexton alley-oop score with a steal and a nice pass. Clarkson and Markkanen then hit back-to-back treys.
