Lauri Markkanen scored 47 points and Keyonte George hit a clutch 3-pointer with two seconds left in the second overtime, lifting the Utah Jazz to a 150-147 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night in the NBA’s highest-scoring game of the season.

George finished with 32 points, including six in the second OT. Isaiah Collier and Brice Sensabaugh each added 16, while Kevin Love and Svi Mykhailiuk chipped in 10 apiece as Utah won for the second time in three games after a stretch of losing six of seven.

For Chicago, Coby White had 27 points, and Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists. Nikola Vučević contributed 21 points, Matas Buzelis and Ayo Dosunmu added 18 each, and Julian Phillips scored 10. The Bulls have now dropped five straight games.

White’s layup with 0.2 seconds left in the first OT tied the score at 136, sending the game to a second overtime. In the second OT, White made two free throws with 8.4 seconds remaining to tie it at 147, but George’s go-ahead 3-pointer sealed the win. Vučević missed a potential game-tying shot at the buzzer.

Utah trailed by seven early in the fourth quarter before an 8-0 run capped by Sensabaugh’s 3-pointer gave them a 102-101 lead. Markkanen scored 12 in the fourth and had hit a key free throw with 19 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game at 127. He also contributed 13 points in the third to help Utah close a nine-point halftime deficit.

Chicago led 70-61 at halftime, powered by 12 points apiece from Giddey and White, while Markkanen led the Jazz with 18 points. The game featured multiple lead changes and seven ties in the final quarter alone.
