The Los Angeles Lakers got LeBron James back against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday with James slotting back into a lineup that has performed admirably for J.J. Redick's team this season.
The Lakers' superstar scored 11 points and passed for 12 assists on the night as LA won 140-126.
On Wednesday, talk show host Jim Rome tackled the topic of James' return to the hardwood, sounding off on the Lakers forward's comments on "fitting in" with his LA teammates.
Rome called out James, referencing his not-so-flattering nickname 'LeGM,' in a rant posted to his X channel after James said he could "fit in with anybody" before returning to the court in Los Angeles.
"You're like one of the most particular dudes in NBA history when it comes to 'fitting in' and picking teammates," Rome said.
"That's why they call you 'LeGM,' 'LeGM,'" Rome added.
"That's why you're constantly whining that Rob Lowe Pelinka (the Lakers' general manager) will not give you the exact pieces that you want.
"Well, at least you used to constantly whine about that, back when you had leverage and back when anybody cared about what you thought, and who else you wanted on that team...Because they pretty much got you everybody you wanted," Rome added in a fiery, scathing message.

James started for the Lakers alongside Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and Deandre Ayton, giving NBA and Lakers fans a glimpse at J.J. Redick's newest lineup that figures to start for the rest of the season.
LA shot a blistering 59.5 percent from the field and got 74 points in the paint with James providing his usual physical presence.
James' assist total is the mark of a player who knows where his strengths and weaknesses lie at the ripe age of 40 years old going on 41.
The Lakers have shooters and talented players with size and something to prove all over the court.
James doesn't need to be his usual superhero self that fans have grown accustomed to in order for the Lakers to make a push for the West's best record this season.
He can simply 'Mind the Game' as his famous podcast references, giving Redick another option as an unselfish player who can get big baskets, assists and rebounds when necessary.
Rome and other critics continue to hold James' past against him, but he seems willing to turn the page in pursuit of his fifth NBA title with a team that just may have the talent to secure one.
