The Thunder have agreed to a two-way deal with undrafted shooting guard Josh Dix, Shams Charania reports for ESPN (via Twitter).
Dix played his senior year at Creighton after spending his first three seasons at Iowa. The 6’5″ guard had something of a down year offensively, averaging 13.2 points and 2.3 assists while shooting 33.8% from three, far below the 41.9% mark from deep he averaged over his first three seasons.
While he lacks the physicality and defensive pedigree that Oklahoma City usually prioritizes, Dix fits the team in his ability to play as a lead or off-ball guard, hit shots off the dribble, and take care of the ball, as evidenced by his career assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.9-to-0.8.
Dix was 95th on Jeremy Woo’s final big board for ESPN.
