The Los Angeles Clippers are 17-13 this season and in 7th place in the Western Conference team standings despite Kawhi Leonard not playing a single game this campaign. Well, good news might be coming soon for the Clippers' faithful, as a Kawhi return could be on the horizon.
Many people have been talking about this and Kawhi's comeback. But in a video posted in Leonard's official 'X' account, The Klaw himself is ramping up his return.
The 64-second video begins with Kawhi driving a 1963 Cadillac Eldorado while listening to a voice message from a contact labeled 'The Game' on his phone. The female voice reminds Leonard to contact her about his schedule since he has plenty on his plate - recovery, family, and media expectations. Leonard then pulls near a guy who is fishing.
The fishing guy, who turns out to be another version of himself, turns on the radio where the announcer says: "We've got exciting news coming out of Los Angeles. Kawhi Leonard looks to be returning to the court pretty soon."
Kawhi version No.1 then goes: "Yo, I know I could find you here….Catch anything?"
To which the second version replies: "Nah, not yet. There's been good days, there's been bad days. But I keep coming back. It's the nature of the game."

The New Balance logo is displayed throughout the video, so it's unclear if it's an ad from Kawhi's shoe sponsor or a message from Leonard himself. It could be both, but what matters most to Clippers fans is the message.
NBA writer Tom Azarly recently revealed that Kawhi has fully participated in the Clippers' recent practice. However, he isn't expected to travel with the team for their upcoming road trip so that he can practice with the Clippers' G League team. Although that means he's still out of their next game against Golden State, he may be back soon.
Leonard played 68 games last season, his most since 2016-17. However, he missed four out of their six playoff games and had an aborted plan to play in the Paris Olympics. Despite Leonard sitting out their first 30 games, the Clippers are in playoff position, and his impending return has them excited.
