In a series that has some notorious ‘floppers’ on both sides, Sixers forward Kelly Oubre fired the first shot that was aimed at Knicks star Jalen Brunson.
Safe to say that, due to being neighboring states, both Philly and New York would be feisty against each other in the second round. Their fans were already rowdy after game one – to no one’s surprise. But what about the blatant hunting for fouls? Both teams have several players who have integrated that skill into their playstyle. That’s why when Oubre was asked about defending Jalen Brunson, he had a bizarre answer about the latter’s penchant for drawing fouls.
“He has a big head. It’s definitely tough to guard him with his head *flailing motion* doing all that,” Kelly Oubre Jr. said to reporters.

This series is about to get interesting moving forward. The New York Knicks are up 1-0, but nobody truly believes this will be a sweep for them. This will inarguably become a brutal series for both squads, and people wouldn’t be surprised if it reaches game seven. But as Oubre said, the Sixers will get their hands full with Brunson.
35 points in nearly 31 minutes – that’s how good Brunson was in the Knicks’ game one victory. He dictated the team’s offense, scoring everywhere on the court. Plus, he was a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line, too.
And by winning at a large margin, of course, Knicks fans were ecstatic. Maybe a bit too ecstatic for everyone’s liking. But despite the huge margin of victory, Jalen Brunson knows that the job’s not done yet. This is a team with championship aspirations. And most pundits predict that this is New York’s time to represent the East in the NBA Finals.
