Keshon Gilbert, a guard on a two-way deal with the Hawks, underwent surgery on a core muscle yesterday, Lauren L. Williams of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution writes (via Twitter).

Gilbert, a 6’4″, 22-year-old rookie, played just one game with the Hawks this season after signing with them in March. He started the season with the Wizards, playing three games during his time in Washington. He went unselected in the 2025 Draft after playing his junior and senior seasons at Iowa State.

He scored 11 points and added nine assists in 25.5 minutes during the last game of the season for Atlanta, a game they lost 143-117 to the Heat.

He will be reevaluated in June, and his status will be updated at that time.
