Netflix is releasing a documentary about USA basketball competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics games. The film will be released on February 18th and will include all the NBA superstars who took part in the USA winning gold. One of the marquee names will be Kevin Durant, who has been a cornerstone of USA basketball for the past two decades.
The Netflix account on X released a sneak peek of the documentary, where Durant gets emotional talking about what playing in the Olympics means to him.

The 15-time All-Star was born in the nation’s capital and doesn’t take the burden of representing the country lightly. The opportunity to be a beam of hope for kids across America made him emotional. Durant grew up with only his mother, Wanda, during his early life and gravitated towards basketball as an escape. He doesn’t take any moment to waste that gift, playing for Team USA four times in his career and winning four gold medals.
Durant is 36 years old, and the possibility of the 2024 Paris Olympics being his last appearance made him emotional in the clip. However, the former MVP was asked by USA basketball director Grant Hill about his commitment to the 2028 LA Olympics, and Durant wants to be there.
