Phoenix Suns star and NBA champion Kevin Durant was in the building at the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday. The Los Angeles Sparks hosted the Atlanta Dream in their first meeting of the 2025 WNBA season. Durant was featured in the celebrity row, as he sat courtside to witness the contest.
Durant has a lot of free time since Phoenix did not qualify for the 2025 NBA playoffs. With that, he's been spotted in a few WNBA games since the new season started.
The Suns' star wasn't the only famous person in the building. Actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis and SNL alum Leslie Jones were also recognized. Being in Los Angeles, the celebrities are expected to come out and watch games.
The Sparks' X account acknowledged the presence of Durant and the other celebrities in the game.

A few nights ago, Durant was also seen in attendance during the Sparks' regular-season game against the Chicago Sky. He wasn't alone as his former Golden State Warriors teammate Matt Barnes sat with him on the courtside. Additionally, former NBA player Lou Williams watched the bout.

Durant has been an active supporter and fan of the WNBA. Also, he considers Dream star Brittney Griner a close friend.
In January, he was surprised to learn about Griner's decision to leave Phoenix and join the Atlanta franchise.
"Yeah, I was definitely shocked to see that," Durant said about Griner. "That's just a part of professional sports. But BG has just been a staple here in the city for so long, and it's kinda weird seeing her with a new team."
Tonight, he saw his friend play for a different franchise for the first time in 11 years.
