Kevin Durant Has 7-Word Reaction After Suns-Rockets Trade

This is a massive move by both teams as the Durant trade saga has finally come to an end with him getting his wish since the Rockets were named one of his preferred destinations.

While everyone has reacted on social media since the trade, Durant found out about it while on stage at Fanatics Fest where he had a seven-word reaction.

“We’re gonna see man, we’re gonna see,” Durant said after he was told that he had been traded to the Rockets on Sunday.

This was a straightforward reaction by Durant but with the smile he had while saying it, it is clear that he is happy to be on his way to Houston.

Of course, Durant now joins a Rockets team that is coming off finishing second in the Western Conference standings during the regular season, though they were upset by the Golden State Warriors in seven games in the first round of the playoffs.

Durant now joins a great young core in Houston and his addition could help the Rockets become a legit championship contender next season and it appears that he is happy to be on the move the Suns’ struggles the last few seasons.

On the other side, the Suns add a young star in Green, who they could end up moving again later down the road due to his fit alongside Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.

Phoenix also receives a veteran forward in Brooks and much-needed draft capital, including their own 2025 pick back that was originally traded to the Nets for Durant in 2023, which will help with their rebuild.
