Just when it felt like things might have finally been getting better for the Suns, Kevin Durant decided to stir the pot again. KD has been known to go at fans on Twitter from time to time and Tuesday morning he decided was the perfect opportunity following Phoenix’s win over the Clippers.
The Suns posted a seemingly harmless post saying they had won the game and the 14x All-Star decided to dig into the comments to call out a few fans. The first fan said he was happy Phoenix won but wondered “what happened to our 11 point lead we had?”. Durant responded by calling him a negative energy merchant and saying the Suns need real fans back.
Negative energy merchant, doesn’t even watch games. We need real fans back

The Suns official account then tweeted out another post saying that they had won 8 of their last 10 games and once again KD decided to dig into the comments. One fan replied saying “don’t worry, the Suns will let us down again.” To which, Durant responded with saying his energy is terrible and asked for real fans to come back.
Your energy is terrible, will the real suns fans please come back outside

The rant didn’t stop there. Another fan was critical of the defense and KD wasn’t going to let that go unnoticed either.
We don’t need this negative energy at footprint, please stay home next time, only real suns allowed

One bold fan finally tried to call out Durant by saying that he needs to take constructive criticism. KD had a response for that as well, saying “we have coaches for that”.
