Caleb Wilson, the fourth overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft, has been quite the revelation for the Chicago Bulls during Summer League. While it had been clear that Wilson is one of the most tantalizing prospects in his draft class, hence the Bulls’ decision to draft him that high, he has shown during exhibition season that his offensive game is far more mature than many expected it to be. This shows that Wilson, from day one, could be ready to take the mantle as his team’s superstar.
In fact, during Summer League action on Thursday, it was mentioned by Kristina Pink of NBA on Prime that Kevin Garnett had given the Bulls youngster a cool nickname that honors his own legacy, calling him the “Little Ticket”.

For the uninitiated, Garnett is known as “The Big Ticket”, so essentially, the Hall of Famer is calling the Bulls forward a younger version of himself. That is quite the lofty feat for Wilson, as Garnett was one of the best players in the NBA for a long time during his 21-year career, being a major two-way force for the majority of his stint in the league.
Wilson, of course, has a long way to go before he even approaches Garnett’s level. The Big Ticket was an absolutely elite rebounder, an underrated passer for a big man, and he had excellent shooting touch that it wasn’t that inconceivable that he would have had a reliable three-point shot had it been part of the NBA game during his time. And Garnett was an elite defensive big man who perhaps could have won even more DPOYs during his career.
However, the Bulls youngster has the physical tools to be a superstar in the association, and the top-notch athleticism he has certainly makes him a spitting image of a younger Garnett at times with the way he rumbles up and down the court.
