Mandatory Credit: Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Garnett racked up 26,071 points during his Hall of Fame NBA career. He won a championship, earned MVP honors and appeared in 15 NBA All-Star Games. From being the fifth overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft to his retirement in 2016, Garnett's impact on the game was undeniable.

These days, the “Big Ticket” is enjoying life as a proud father, watching his children make names for themselves. His daughter, Kapri, is on the rise in the world of volleyball, and her latest accomplishment earned her some well-deserved recognition from her dad.

After Kapri helped her team secure a championship, Garnett sent her a heartfelt message:

"Congratulations Kapri n to your team.... You have your own ring now. 2 rings n counting."

The ring Garnett referred to came from the Sunshine Volleyball Club's CIF Championship. Based in the Los Angeles area, Sunshine is one of Southern California’s top-ranked clubs. This win marked the second championship and second ring for the 6-foot-4 Kapri and her teammates.

Kapri’s success isn’t limited to club volleyball. In November 2024, she announced her commitment to continue her volleyball career at the University of Michigan after graduating from Viewpoint High School in Calabasas, California, in the class of 2026.

“I am beyond blessed and excited to say that I have verbally committed to the University of Michigan to pursue my athletic and academic career!!” — Kapri Garnett, Instagram

Kevin Garnett, of course, reached the pinnacle of basketball in 2008 when he won his only NBA championship with the Boston Celtics. That postseason, he averaged 20.4 points across 26 games. Garnett had six different playoff runs where he averaged more than 20 points per game and appeared in a total of 143 playoff games throughout his career.
