Khris Middleton’s hearfelt post after Milwaukee return draws Bucks’ response

It still feels weird for Milwaukee Bucks fans to see Khris Middleton in a Washington Wizards jersey. But that’s a reality now, as Middleton is writing a new chapter in his career in the NBA, with the Wizards, who traded for him in February.

On Wednesday, Middleton finally returned to Milwaukee for his first game there since his trade to Washington. Middleton was given a tremendous welcome from the Bucks and the team’s fans. It was as though he never left.

The three-time NBA All-Star later sent a heartfelt message to Milwaukee.

“Milwaukee.. hard to put last night into words but the love was felt! I appreciate the warm welcome back… Will forever be a special place for me!! Thank you for an unforgettable night!” Middleton wrote in a post on X.

Middleton’s post gets reactions from Bucks, fans

Middleton’s heartfelt message captured the attention of countless Bucks fans online.

Of course, his former team saw it too.

Clearly, Bucks fans still love Middleton, who could one day indeed be back in a Milwaukee jersey. Who knows?
