The Kings are expected to waive reserve guard/forward Juan Toscano-Anderson, but he won’t be unemployed for long.

Per James Ham of EPN 1320, Sacramento intends to re-sign him to a 10-day contract.

Toscano-Anderson, 30, initially signed with the Kings last month, though he’s mostly only played in garbage time since. He has a total of two points and five rebounds on the season.

Along with the Kings, Toscano-Anderson has spent time with the Warriors, Lakers and Jazz, and even owns a championship ring (2022, Golden State). He carries career averages of 4.1 points and 3.0 boards.

Sunday marked the final day to pick up guaranteed contracts for the season, which is likely the reason for the move — which will give Sacramento more roster flexibility while keeping Toscano-Anderson.
