Knicks signing Duane Washington Jr. to two-way deal
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Knicks are bringing back Duane Washington Jr. on a two-way contract, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Washington, 23, signed a two-way deal with the Knicks in October, then was waived in late November. He has spent time with the Westchester Knicks of the G League since.

This move follows the Knicks’ decision to waive center Dmytro Skapintsev earlier in the week. He too was on a two-way deal. Skapintsev just joined Westchester.

Meanwhile, Washington has played a total of 79 NBA games with the Pacers and Suns since entering the NBA in 2021. He carries career averages of 9.1 points and 1.9 assists, shooting 37 percent on 3-pointers.

Washington played college ball at Ohio State. He’s the son of former NBA guard Duane Washington and nephew of ex-NBA guard Derek Fisher.
