The Knicks continue to tinker around the periphery of their roster. Per Stefan Bondy of The New York Post, New York recently worked out a pair of free agent former 2024-25 Lakers centers, veteran Alex Len and former L.A. two-way signing Trey Jemison III.
For now, only 12 players occupy the Knicks’ standard roster. 2025 second-round selection Mohamed Diawara is anticipated to ink a standard deal with New York, as well. Kevin McCullar Jr. has a two-way qualifying offer extended his way.
Veteran guards Malcolm Brogdon, Landry Shamet and Garrison Mathews are all signed to non-guaranteed training camp agreements. New York will only be able to hold on to one of these non-guaranteed players because of hard-cap restrictions. That said, it’s possible that the Knicks could offload some players in a trade to free up cap space and sign two of Brogdon, Shamet and Mathews.
