Kristaps Porzingis will not play for the Wizards on Friday night (knee maintenance). The big man has suited up in just 17 games since the February trade that brought him to Washington.
Kyle Kuzma will miss the contest vs. the Knicks with left knee tendinitis. It’s possible that Kuzma’s season could be over with Washington only having one game left (on Sunday vs. Hornets).
Daniel Gafford, Thomas Bryant, and Anthony Gill are all candidates to see the additional time.
For the Knicks, Mitchell Robinson will miss the game against the Wizards with a non-COVID Illness. Rookie Jericho Sims will get more work with the starting lineup and should have a chance to shine against a depleted Wizards frontcourt.
