As trade rumors continue to circle around Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks teammate Kyle Kuzma is sending him a rather pointed warning.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Kuzma jokingly threatened Antetokounmpo if the forward leaves the Bucks this offseason. Kuzma shared a video of himself boxing, paired with the caption “Me to (Giannis) if you leave next year.”

Kuzma was acquired by Milwaukee at the trade deadline, so he has only had the chance to play with Antetokounmpo since February. Needless to say, he would prefer the current arrangement continue next season, since the Bucks would likely be embracing an on-the-fly retool by trading Antetokounmpo.
It remains unclear if the Bucks will trade Antetokounmpo, or if the All-Star plans to try to force such a move. There would be plenty of interest in him if he decided he wants to leave Milwaukee, but for now, that decision has not been made.
The Bucks have exited the playoffs in the first round for three straight seasons, a trend Antetokounmpo would no doubt expect to end if he were to remain in Milwaukee. Kuzma did not do nearly enough to help end that run this season, so his threats might fall on deaf ears.
