The Lakers are set to start their 2025-26 season on Oct. 21, as they take on the Golden State Warriors. Fans in attendance for that game will receive a Lakers t-shirt. The first two games of the season for the Lakers are at home, as Minnesota comes in on Oct. 24.
Some of the other giveaways for Laker fans include a long-sleeve t-shirt, a Pechanga hat, a passport carrier, a Girl Dad Hat, shoelaces, and a beach bag. The Lakers also announced they would be unveiling a Pat Riley statue before the Feb. 22 game against the Boston Celtics.
Los Angeles will start the season with a likely starting lineup of Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, LeBron James, and Dorian Finney-Smith. Off the bench for the Lakers, Gabe Vincent, Jordan Goowdin, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Maxi Kleber expect to fill out the depth chart.
The Lakers finish the regular season with their final two games at home. On April 10, the Lakers will host the Phoenix Suns. The finale is slated for April 12 as they take on the Utah Jazz.
A season ago, Doncic came over from Dallas and played the final 28 games as a member of the Lakers. He scored 28.2 points per game, recorded 8.2 rebounds, and dished out 7.4 assists per game. Many project LeBron James to be in his final season of his career. He will turn 41 years old in December. The top pick in the 2003 draft has played in more than 1,560 games in his NFL career.
Los Angeles lost in five games in the first round of the playoffs to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
