Reddish has appeared in 15 games for the Lakers this season. He’s averaging 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.7 steals while shooting 42.2% from the field, 34.1% from beyond the arc and 80.0% from the free-throw line.
The Lakers signed Reddish to a two-year, $4.6 million contract this past offseason in unrestricted free agency. Reddish has started nine games for Los Angeles and has played well on both ends of the court. The Lakers will miss Reddish’s defense and scoring against the Mavericks.
Reddish has career averages of 10.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists with the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers. He was the 10th overall pick in the 2019 draft out of Duke. Reddish played college basketball with Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett.
Dallas is 9-5 on the season, while Los Angeles is 9-6. The Lakers blew out the Jazz last night by 32 points. Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis got to sit out the entire fourth quarter, so they should be fresh for the Mavericks game.
There is a lot of star power in the Lakers-Mavericks contest. Dallas has Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic and Los Angeles has LeBron and Davis. It will be interesting to see who wins.
