Lakers Injury Report: Statuses Of LeBron James, Anthony Davis Revealed Vs NY
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

As the Knicks look for their 10th straight win, the Lakers will look to play spoiler.

Having LeBron James and Anthony Davis back tonight will certainly help with that, as the two superstars are available after both missing their upset win over Boston, and AD missing their loss against Houston.

James (ankle) and Davis (achilles) will both play integral roles against a surging Knicks team that is without some of their entire starting frontcourt tonight, as Julius Randle (shoulder), OG Anunoby (elbow), and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) have all been ruled out.

Their absences are particularly problematic for the Knicks in this specific matchup, as it's much harder to rival the physicality of James, Davis, and new starter Rui Hachimura without some of your starters.

That said, their replacement starting frontcourt of Josh Hart, Precious Achiuwa, and Isaiah Hartenstein have been getting the job done, so we'll see. Regardless, expect some highly physical basketball tonight.
