The Los Angeles Lakers are interested in Deandre Ayton and Al Horford.

Ayton finalized a contract buyout with the Portland Trail Blazers to become a free agent. The center was the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns.
In 40 games for the Trail Blazers last season, Ayton averaged 14.4 points and 10.2 rebounds while shooting 56.6% from the field and 66.7% from the free-throw line.
Ayton has career averages of 16.4 points and 10.5 rebounds. He helped the Suns reach the NBA Finals in 2021.
Horford appeared in 60 games for the Boston Celtics last season. The five-time All-Star and NBA champion averaged 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 42.3% overall, 36.3% from 3 and 89.5% from the foul line.
The 39-year-old Horford has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Celtics (twice), Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran has career averages of 12.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
